Fonts, detailed explanation

This was the first font that stood out to me as if fitted in well with my horror theme and title. I found this font on a website called dafont.com, this website allows people to use font designs that other people people had created and uploaded to the website, free for everyone to use. This font is a mixture between decorative style font and Serif font. This is due to the fact that this is a font created by an unknown source so that people can use it however the font has a touch of Serif style as it has slight flicks at the end of the letters which correspond with the serif style. I have chosen this font as it goes with my theme every well as that each letter is made to look like it is a tree branch that is intertwining to make up each letter. The one thing that I dislike about this font is that the letters L and W have a box around them, if I was to use this font in my final piece I would simply edit it out by using Photoshop.

This font is called San Serif font and is the most bold font of them all. I like the concept of using such a strong powerful font as it will guarantee my success of gaining my audience attention. This title connotes across to the audience that there is blood smeared across something which is a powerful message to the audience which in turn tells them that this is a horror film. I also sourced this font from the website dafont.com

For this font I used a San Serif font again and changed the angle of the font in PhotoShop to the affect that the font is getting slightly stretch. I did this as it adds the effect that there will be twists in the story plot. This font also has a small lining around the edge of each letter as it makes the title stand out when it's set against a busy background. I decided to feature this font in my final ideas as it would really stand out when set against any form of image or background and as I am still in the developmental stages I am still a little unaware of what image I will use for my magazine and poster.
