First attempt at After Effects

I first edited two images on Photoshop. I took photos of real newspaper articles and then edited off the heading, images and main body text and used the closest font I could find and filled in the page with my own information. I did this with both images until I was happy enough with both of them. Once completing the editing in Photoshop I moved onto after affects.

Here is a screen shot taken of my first attempt of using After Effects. I wanted to create a scene where it shows a selection of newspaper articles about Harriet Jones being taken. I have now learnt how to make the pages turn on After Effects. I am also going to make the angles of the camera change and move in closer. I needed help to create this page so I watched tutorials on YouTube and this below really helped me create the turn affect.

 

After this I went on to change the angles.   Here is my finished magazine scene. I will use this scene in my trailer.
