Mock Up Film Poster

Here is my first attempt at creating a film poster, while in the middle of creating this poster I have decided not to carry on with this style. I plan on starting again and instead of using a black background and a white title, I am going to flip this stereotype view of darkness taking control of the poster and instead have the background in white and have a simplistic, stylish feel. I will create this style by having a photo Harriet slowing changing into a photo of the wildlife, Connecting the title with the image.

I have done this effect as I wanted to connote the sense that Harriet is being taken by the wild, also that she is slowly disappearing as she is lost. For my poster I wanted the audience to understand that the title of the film is linked to the main image. I have used the leaf shape brush tool to connote the wild. Below I have shown two images on both black and white backgrounds this is to test which one would look better. However I do not like this tool effect any more and I will not be using these images for my final poster.
